After writing up Saturday’s notes in Newquay, it was only about 20 miles down the road to Tehidy, near Camborne, for the Easter Monday fixture. The course was a bit rustic from what I can remember. Right handed, undulating, with some plough over a distance of about three and a half miles which suited strong stayers. In this post I do some reminiscing on Lefèvre’s “Reminiscences” and add . — This is a wonderfully illustrated book for the poem, Old Home Week. Lots of sentimental reminiscences of life in rural New England. Maine Beautiful. Wallace Nutting. Framingham, MA: Old America Company. — With over photoraphs and illustrations, this is a great collection of essays and images about living in Maine years ago.

[William Davis]. The title I have given to my book, African Nature Notes and Reminiscences, though it perhaps lacks terseness, nevertheless exactly describes its scope, and although the chapters dealing with the "Tse-tse" Fly and the subject of Protective Coloration and the Influence of Environment on large mammals may have no interest except for a small number.
